The Italian-Japanese fusion concept will be coming to Mandarin Oriental, Al Faisaliah.
Riyadh’s dining scene features concepts from all over the world. With Riyadh Season 2024 in full swing, foodies have plenty to indulge in with an array of pop-up experiences. Among the most anticipated arrivals is L˜ARIA Riyadh, which is all set to debut in Saudi Arabia at Mandarin Oriental, Al Faisaliah, this December.
Occupying the space once home to Meraki, L˜ARIA Riyadh will be a limited-time offering, running from 4 December to 26 February. While currently planned as a three-month pop-up, a representative from Mandarin Oriental, Al Faisaliah, Riyadh confirmed to FACT that the decision to extend the restaurant’s stay will be made at a later time.
L˜ARIA is coming to the Saudi capital from Italy’s Mandarin Oriental, Lake Como. The upcoming Riyadh outpost will combine the restaurant’s signature Italian cuisine with Japanese influences, delivering a fusion that promises to surprise and delight.
Helmed by Chef Massimiliano Blasone, the menu is expected to be inspired by its Lake Como counterpart and offer delicacies like Meat Gyoza, Crispy Squid, Risotto, Grilled Chilean Sea Bass, Black Angus Rib Eye and much more. And for those with a sweet tooth, L˜ARIA’s wide selection of desserts promises a delightful end to your meal.
While the Saudi capital can’t compete with the dreamy views of Lake Como, this spot will compensate with its own charm. L˜ARIA Riyadh is perfectly situated within Mandarin Oriental, Al Faisaliah which is one of the capital’s most iconic destinations. Here, you can enjoy al fresco dining, making it an ideal spot for the capital’s cooler months. Currently, only dinner will be served at the Saudi outpost along with brunch on Saturdays.
Reservations for L˜ARIA are open now, so ensure you secure a spot. Will it become a permanent part of Riyadh’s dining scene? Only time (and diners) will tell.
