The Parisian concept is coming to the country.
Saudi Arabia is fast becoming a dining destination, and is home to restaurants coming from celebrity chefs to local entrepreneurs. Now, it is set to welcome a new concept from France, Liza. The Kingdom’s MJS Holdings is behind the opening, and here’s what to expect.
Liza can be found on Rue de la Banque, Paris, and is open for brunch, lunch and dinner. The venue boasts indoor and outdoor seating. The décor feels like a Vincent Van Gogh painting come to life, and includes a flower mural on the wall and flower patterns on the cushions.
The features in Liza include star-shaped chandeliers, rattan chairs and floor to ceiling windows, which overlook the bustling streets of the capital. Plus, it is a hip hangout, and welcomes artists and DJs in the evenings.
Liza specialises in Lebanese food, and offers a long list of mezes dishes. The meze includes Artichokes, Falafel, Fattouche, Fries, Hummus with Tahini, and Tabbouleh. The desserts include Baklawa with Liban, Ice Cream and Sorbet, and Maamoul Crumble with Dates.
MJS Holding’s brands include AOK Kitchen, Il Baretto, Mr Chow and Rüya. The hospitality group also announced that it is bringing the restaurants Anna, Bambini, Liza and Perruche to Saudi Arabia. Plus, it will be opening Arcade Food Hall, which can already be found in London’s Tottenham Court Road and Battersea.
The location for Liza in Saudi Arabia has not yet been confirmed.
