The concept comes to Riyadh Park Mall on 1 February.

French toast fans, we have some tasty news. The London restaurant CROME, which is famed for its French toast, is making its debut in Saudi Arabia. Located in Riyadh Park Mall, the restaurant opens on 1 February. So, if you’re on the hunt for a new brunch spot, here’s what you need to know.

CROME started in St James Street, London, and can also be found in the Old Doha Port, Doha. The fun, family-friendly concept pays homage to the French toast, and it is served in different flavours with sweet and savoury options. If the London menu is anything to go by, Riyadh is in for a terrific treat.

CROME

The sweet French toast is soaked in a sweet cinnamon batter, stuffed with sauces, fried in butter and tossed in some more cinnamon. The savoury French toast is dipped in a savoury batter, fried in butter and topped with a cheese mix and caramelised. The result is a golden brown French toast, which has a loyal following.

The sweet options include The Choco-Holic, The Crunchy Salted Caramel, and The Lotus and Caramelised Banana. The savoury options include Eggs Florentine Brioche, Eggs Royale Brioche, and Smashed Avocado Brioche.

CROME is an influencer’s dream, thanks to its Insta-friendly drinks. The drinks include frappes, house coffee, hot chocolate, juices, milkshakes, specialty teas, and Spanish lattes. The drinks are presented prettily, from the Matcha in Blue with greens and blue hues, to the Iced Tiramisu drink with foam. Plus, the house espresso is sourced from Brazil.
