Riyadh, we have some hot off-the-coffee-press news. Siwa Coffee has opened in The Esplanade, Riyadh. The café is inspired by Arabia and is a sophisticated space, which has already proven to be popular with locals. So, if you’re a coffee connoisseur, here’s where to take your next sip. 

Siwa Coffee in Riyadh is a contemporary café with old-school touches. The décor has been designed by the architects, david/nicholas. The space boasts neutral tones with large white pillars, brown seats, tables and shelves, and it is punctuated by gorgeous greenery. The team blend Eastern and Western influences and has created a modern design that pays homage to the Arabian desert. Look out for the sand feature in a glass wall, which states Notes on Arabia. Plus, the shelves are lined with vases, vinyl records, and books on Saudi Arabia.

Visitors can choose from curved banquettes and chairs by square and round tables. As for the menu, it includes an extensive range of food and drinks. The hot drinks include an Americano, Espresso, Drip Coffee, Latte and Spanish Latte. The cold drinks include a Darseen Fizz, Lemonade Chai and Khuzamaa Blossom.

The food menu offers a modern take on Arabic classics and covers desserts, sweet snacks, salty snacks, sandwiches and viennoiseries. The desserts include a Honey Coffee Cake, Pistachio Cake and Tiramisu. The sweet snacks include an Al Wasseel Date Cookie Bite, Chocolate Ginger Cookie and Lavender Nuts. The salty snacks include Pomegranate and Beetroot Potato Chips, Cumin Potato Crisps and Zaatar Potato Crisps. The sandwiches include Chicken Tajin, Halloumi Eggplant and Mushroom Shawarma. The viennoiseries range from a Chocolate Babka to a Zaatar Babka. 

Siwa Coffee in Riyadh is open daily from 8am to midnight.
