The Mediterranean menu ranges from pastas to pastries.

FACT has some news that will brighten up your day. The Lighthouse is coming from Dubai to Riyadh. The Mediterranean restaurant is now open at 1364 in the Diplomatic Quarter, and here’s what we know.

The Lighthouse in Riyadh is a multi-purpose venue that combines food and drink. In 2017, the original venue opened in Dubai Design District, and today, the brand can be found across the UAE, in the Mall of the Emirates, and at Yas Bay Waterfront in Abu Dhabi. The expansion to Riyadh marks its debut in Saudi Arabia.

Famed for its Mediterranean soul and cultural verve, The Lighthouse Riyadh weaves together culinary craft and community spirit. Designed for every moment of the day, from beautiful breakfasts on the terrace to sunset soirées under soft lighting, the venue balances indoor and outdoor spaces to foster connection and conversation.

The menu draws inspiration from the Eastern Mediterranean but adds contemporary flair throughout. Guests can start their day with bowls of Greek Yoghurt and House-made Granola or opt for the comforting Muhammara Eggs. As the day unfolds, the offering evolves to include Chicken Musakhan, Harissa-Crusted Seabass, and Truffle Rigatoni. Small plates such as the Lentil Salad with pickled vegetables and Short Rib Katayefs are ideal for sharing, while pizzas, sandwiches, and desserts offer plenty of variation.

A strong coffee programme offers everything from single-origin pour-overs to signature creations like the Pistachio Frappé or Brûléed Cappuccino. For those steering clear of caffeine, the marvellous mocktails include the Rosa, a floral lemonade infused with rose essence from Taif, or the passionfruit-pomegranate twist of the Isabella.

London-based Archer Humphryes Architects, the firm behind the design of Chiltern Firehouse and The Peninsula London, have crafted a space that speaks to both local context and global sophistication. Natural textures like wood and lava stone meet a striking wooden ceiling installation and open kitchen, giving the space a tactile warmth. Works by Saudi artist Nasser Al Mulhim add layers of character and creative energy. The Lighthouse in Riyadh mirrors the brand’s longstanding cultural ethos, hosting live podcast recordings and intimate DJ sets.

The date refers to the founding date of Saudi Arabia. Upon completion, the venue will boast world-class restaurants, classy cafés and state-of-the-art wellness centres.
