The property is expected to welcome guests in 2026.
Saudi Arabia is undergoing a massive transformation, emerging as a global hub for culture, luxury, and tourism. At the heart of this change is Diriyah, a destination steeped in history and heritage. Known for its UNESCO-listed Al Turaif, Diriyah is the birthplace of the Kingdom, which is all set to welcome Fauchon L’Hotel Diriyah.
Located within the Diriyah Gate District, Fauchon L’Hotel Diriyah will blend heritage with modernity. This property will weave the Fauchon brand’s signature French aesthetic with traditional Najdi architecture. Think shaded courtyards with Riveria-style elements.
Fauchon L’Hotel Diriyah will feature 80 units, including guestrooms and suites. The rooms will offer the perfect blend of modern luxury and local charm, with a focus on comfort and sophistication. A standout feature is the in-room Gourmet Bar stocked with a curated selection of Fauchon’s signature delicacies, including fine pastries and artisanal chocolates, tailored to guests’ preferences. Each accommodation is also expected to follow Fauchon’s signature colour palette of magenta, black and gold. However, since it will come with a Saudi twist, you can also be in for a surprise.
Beyond accommodation, Fauchon L’Hotel Diriyah will elevate the guest experience with a variety of world-class amenities. The Grand Cafe Fauchon will showcase the brand’s celebrated French cuisine. The hotel will also house a spa, offering a variety of treatments designed to rejuvenate the body and mind. A rooftop outdoor pool and bar will also be on-site so you can unwind while enjoying views of Diriyah’s skyline. Lastly, the property will also be home to a Fauchon boutique, allowing visitors to purchase the brand’s products and luxury items.
Fauchon L’Hotel Diriyah is backed by the Fauchon Group. Founded over 130 years ago in France, it has built a reputation for exceptional pastries, teas, and chocolates. In 2018, the brand expanded into hospitality with the opening of Fauchon L’Hotel Paris. In 2021, it unveiled its second property in Japan, blending French elegance with Japanese culture. Fauchon L’Hotel Diriyah will be the brand’s third venture and its first in the Middle East.
Fauchon L’Hotel Diriyah has already broken ground and is expected to open its doors in 2026. This will coincide with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, which aims to position the Kingdom as a premier destination for travellers.
With its prime location in Diriyah and thoughtful design, this property promises to redefine hospitality in the Middle East. Keep your eyes peeled at FACT for all the insights from Saudi Arabia.
