Saudi Arabia is welcoming luxury hotels across the country, from Jeddah to Riyadh. Now, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has confirmed that it is opening a new hotel in Madinah at the end of the year.
Located near the Prophet’s Mosque, this marks Four Seasons and Resorts’ entry into the Holy City and religious tourism. So far, we know that Four Seasons Hotel Madinah will include 246 rooms and suites, two restaurants, a tea room, a wellness centre, a gym, and a barbershop. Plus, there will be a range of handpicked retail shops, lounges, and extensive event spaces, ensuring guests can enjoy a world-class experience synonymous with the Four Seasons brand.
Madinah holds a lot of history and is one of the sacred cities for Muslims. Inspired by its surroundings, Four Seasons Hotel Madinah’s design features elements of the city’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage. The hotel also draws inspiration from Masjid an-Nabawi, ensuring every element of the property provides guests with a wholesome experience.
Each year, Madinah sees millions of visitors exploring its cultural sites such as Mount Uhud, the Quba Mosque — the oldest mosque in the world – and of course, Masjid an Nabawi. And Four Seasons Hotel Madinah will offer a relaxing base from which visitors can explore these spiritual and historic sites.
Saudi Arabia has more than 100 hotels opening in the Kingdom, which are being constructed in cities and new megaprojects and range from international brands to sprawling resorts.
