The properties will add 4,400 rooms to the historical site.

Madinah is one of the most popular destinations in Saudi Arabia, as the location welcomes more than one million visitors each year. Soon, visitors will have more hotels to choose from, as Marriott International has unveiled eight new hotels.

Marriott International and Rua Al Madinah Holding Company announced the agreement to open the new properties, which include Aloft Hotels, Courtyard by Marriott, Four Points by Sheraton, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, JW Marriott, The Ritz-Carlton and Westin Hotels & Resorts.

In total, the Rua Al Madinah Project will cover a massive 1.5 million square metres and include 4,400 new rooms. The hotels are well-located for visitors, since they are near the main mosque, Al Masjid An Nabawi. The development will also create open spaces and transportation links, from bus stops to underground parking.
