The Accor-backed hospitality brand is gearing up to make its Saudi debut.
The hospitality landscape in Saudi Arabia is evolving at a fast pace. Many hotels are already in the final stages of preparation, eagerly awaiting their first guests, yet new announcements continue to arise. This time around, it’s yet another prominent name in global hospitality that’s making its way to the Kingdom. Say hello to TRIBE Hotels, set to debut in Saudi Arabia.
Backed by Accor, TRIBE and TRIBE Living will be making their debut in the Kingdom. Located within King Salman Park, these properties will blend nature with culture and modern living. Spanning over 200,000 square meters, this development will also feature retail and F&B outlets, along with schools and other public spaces essential for a community to thrive.
TRIBE Riyadh King Salman Park will house 250 rooms and be home to two restaurants, including a rooftop dining experience with views overlooking the park. With a gym, pool and other wellness facilities, the property promises a wholesome stay. The hotel also offers meeting facilities and a banquet hall, making it a great choice for families as well as business travellers.
On the other hand, TRIBE Living will feature 150 apartments, ranging from studios to three-bedroom units. Designed with a modern aesthetic, these homes offer all the comforts of a private residence with the added perks of hotel-like services. With an exclusive clubhouse for residents to encourage community interaction, this residential property will offer an upscaled lifestyle to all.
King Salman Park aims to redefine the traditional concept of a park. In 2019, King Salman Bin Adulaziz Al Saud unveiled the plan, which is also named after him. Covering 13.3 square kilometres, the architecture firm Omrania is behind the design, which combines nature with modern features. The gardens will include an Islamic-style garden, mazes, and a bird and butterfly sanctuary. The water features will cover 300,000 metres, and the valley will cover 800,000 square metres. Plus, there will be museums ranging from a Museum of World Cultures to the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts.
Details of when TRIBE will break ground in Riyadh are still under wraps, but once open, it will become yet another destination for locals and tourists to explore.
