It’s time to shake it off. A Taylor Swift music night is coming to Riyadh. Taking place at Anghami Lab in Boulevard City on 16 May, it’s a chance to celebrate the hitmaker’s new album, The Tortured Poets Department.
During the Taylor Swift event in Anghami Lab, guests can listen to the singer’s new and old songs. The event includes an immersive art installation, photograph station and friendship bracelet station. If you know your starbuck’s lovers from long list of ex-lovers, then head to the manuscript station, which is where you can explore lyrics. Plus, guests will receive a goodie bag and a Taylor-inspired mocktail.
Taylor’s The Tortured Poets Department was released on 19 April 2024. The record gained the highest single-day streams for an album on Spotify. The album contains 31 songs across two albums, and features collaborations with Florence and the Machine and Post Malone.
Taylor hails from Pennsylvania, United States. When she was 14 years old, she started writing songs professionally. In 2006, she released her first album, Taylor Swift. Her hit songs include Anti-Hero, Bad Blood, Blank Space, Look What You Made Me Do, Love Story, and You Belong With Me. Over her career, she has sold more than 200 million records. She has won 14 Grammy Awards, 40 American Music Awards and 23 MTV Video Music Awards.
Taylor is currently on her Eras Tour. The concert started in Arizona, United States, and is on its European leg. The tour comes to Edinburgh from 7 to 9 June, Liverpool from 13 to 15 June, Cardiff on 18 June, and London from 21 to 23 June.
