Get ready to channel your inner Lawrence of Arabia. Riyadh Season is welcoming the Dunes of Arabia zone, which opened on 15 December and is located near the Riyadh Exit. The zone promises family-friendly fun.
Dunes of Arabia is inspired by Saudi Arabia’s culture and community. The zone offers an immersive experience, bringing to life the desert in the city’s heart. At the Heritage Village, you can step into the soul of Arabia and enjoy falconry shows, camel encounters, and live oud music. Try on traditional attire for a memorable photo, immerse yourself in the aroma of Saudi spices, and gather around a bonfire to savour Saudi coffee and dates.
Thrill-seekers can rev up for buggy rides, guided 4×4 dune bashing, sandboarding, quad biking, shooting, archery, axe throwing, and horseback riding through paddocks and desert trails. For a more serene experience, enjoy a camel ride or relax in the Kashta area with tea, marvelling at the sunset over the dunes. Prices start at SAR 35.
Relax, play, and create at the DRB Experience Centre. Enjoy Saudi coffee and sweets, unwind in a lounge or caravan, or take part in activities like billiards or drawing in a fun emoji ball pit. Entry is SAR 50.
The Kids’ Oasis is a paradise for young adventurers. It offers wall climbing, ziplining, mini golf, a petting zoo, treasure hunts, football, and arts and crafts workshops. Budding athletes can also attend the Desert Olympics for a day packed with thrills.

Saudi Arabia is famous for its dramatic dunes, which include long sand valleys and windswept mountains. Ad Dahna Desert is a reddish sandy terrain, Al Araqana Desert boasts golden red dunes and Jubbah desert is famous for its rock art. Edge of the World is located outside of Riyadh and in the Tuwaik Mountain range.
Dunes of Arabia also features retail pop-ups featuring authentic Saudi pieces, including abayas, thobes, and the winter farwa. The attraction is open from Sunday to Wednesday from 3pm to midnight, Thursday from 3pm to 3am, Friday from 9am to 3am and Saturday from 9am to midnight.
