How to get a free pass to Saudi Arabia’s Diriyah this summer
Step into a world of history and gastronomy at this landmark location.
As Saudi Arabia pushes forward with Saudi Vision 2030 and opens up to tourists, one of its most exciting megaprojects is Diriyah. The destination seamlessly blends the past, present and future. The historical location has become a must-visit destination for locals and tourists. Now, visiting has become a whole lot easier, thanks to Diriyah Summer Access 2023.
Starting this week until Thursday, 31 August, visitors can enjoy free entry to Diriyah. The Diriyah Summer Access 2023 pass includes access to the historical sight, At-Turaif, and the luxurious fine-dining destination, Bujairi Terrace. So, no tickets will be required during this period.
Previously, if you wanted to explore Diriyah, you had to book tickets in advance. Depending on when you wanted to go, the tickets could cost between SAR 100 to SAR 200. Now you can dive fork first into lip-smacking culinary delights, and go on an adventure at the architectural wonders.
At-Turaif, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers you an opportunity to explore the meticulously restored ruins of Salwa Palace, which served as the original residence of the Al-Saud royal family. A bridge from At-Turaif then leads you to the charming Bujairi Terrace, where a diverse array of 20 local and international restaurants await.
What sets Bujairi Terrace apart from other high-end dining destinations is its perfect balance of Saudi cuisine and top-notch international brands, from Chez Bruno to Hakkasan. All you need to do is make sure that you have a reservation at one of these coveted restaurants.
Whether you’re a history enthusiast, a food lover or simply seeking a unique experience, Diriyah delivers. Make sure to add Diriyah to your itinerary.
