The boxing bout forms part of this year’s Riyadh Season.

Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol are set to face off in a highly anticipated rematch on February 22 for the undisputed light heavyweight championship, as announced by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, on Monday.

The rematch follows Beterbiev’s controversial majority decision victory over Bivol in October in Riyadh, where he unified all four 175-pound titles. The bout, marked by exceptional skill and intense competition, left fans and analysts calling for a second showdown.

Ranked among ESPN’s top pound-for-pound fighters—Beterbiev at No. 4 and Bivol at No. 6—their clash will headline a pay-per-view event featuring one of the most stacked undercards in recent history.

The Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol event boasts an action-packed lineup with six additional title fights. In the co-main event, IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois will defend his title against interim champion Joseph Parker. Dubois secured the biggest victory of his career in September, knocking out Anthony Joshua to claim the IBF heavyweight crown. Parker, on the other hand, earned his shot with a majority decision win over Zhilei Zhang in March to claim the interim title.

WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson will also feature on the card, defending his title against 22-year-old rising star Floyd Schofield.

Adding to the excitement, WBC middleweight champion Carlos Adames will face undefeated 25-year-old Hamzah Sheeraz, while WBC interim super welterweight champion Vergil Ortiz Jr. takes on former WBA super welterweight champion Israel Madrimov. Zhilei Zhang will battle Agit Kabayel for the vacant WBC interim heavyweight title, and Joshua Buatsi will square off against Callum Smith for the WBO interim light heavyweight belt.

“One of the greatest cards ever on February 22 in Riyadh,” said Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, on X.

“What a fight card, what a night this will be. These Riyadh Season cards just get better and better,” said Frank Warren, the promoter behind Dubois and Sheeraz.

Branded as “The Last Crescendo,” the event is set to take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and is the latest Riyadh Season event on a card stacked with championship bouts.
