The Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix takes place from 18 to 20 April 2025.
Saudi, start your engines. Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is returning to Jeddah from 18 to 20 April 2025. We are buzzing, as this is the motorsport’s fifth visit to the world’s fastest and longest street circuit, Jeddah Corniche Circuit, tickets for which are live now.
The Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah returns early in the season. The racing extravaganza will kick off with the Australian Grand Prix from 14 to 16 March, taking motorsports lovers on a tour spanning five continents. It will then shift gears to the Middle East in April, considering March will see Ramadan. Bahrain will host the championship from 11 to 13 April, paving the way for Jeddah to take centre stage from 18 to 20 April for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The race will take place at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, which boasts views of the Red Sea coast and an average speed of up to 252km/h. Both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia will return to their traditional Sunday race format, following the experiment with Saturday evening Grand Prix in the previous season.
As the F1 season reaches its climax, the race will make its way to Qatar on 28 November, 2025 followed by the grand finale in Abu Dhabi from 5 to 7 December, 2025 promising a nail-biting conclusion. For those unversed in F1, the 2025 season marks the 75th anniversary of the FIA Formula One World Championship. As part of the championship, each Grand Prix weekend is a carefully planned event, with three days of non-stop action. From Australia to Japan, Europe to the Americas, and culminating in the Middle East, each destination adds its own flavour — followed by a series of concerts.
Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix has put Jeddah on the map in the sports world, as it has attracted the biggest motorsport stars in the world. Saudi Arabia hosted its first Formula 1 event in December 2021 and has hosted the event annually ever since.
Saudi Arabia is no stranger to hosting world-class sports events. King Abdullah Sports City Arena in Jeddah has been the venue for events across football, WWE and boxing. In August 2022, the stadium was home to Rage on the Red Sea, the much-anticipated boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk.
