Set to open in 2026, it will include world-class restaurants and a legendary afternoon tea.
The Langham, London is synonymous with luxury. It has a history that dates back to 1865, and celebrity fans ranging from Angelina Jolie to Lady Gaga. Now, it’s bringing a touch of that luxury to Saudi Arabia with The Langham, Diriyah.
Set to open in 2026, The Langham, Diriyah is coming to the historical enclave located 15 minutes from the centre of Riyadh. The new hotel will open on Diriyah’s main boulevard and near major attractions including world-famous luxury retailers, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of At-Turaif, and the eco-tourism experience, Wadi Safar.
The Langham, Diriyah aims to bring its timeless traditions to the kingdom. The hotel will boast 200 luxurious rooms and suites, art exhibitions and an intimate Langham Club. Plus, The Langham Chuan Spa will draw inspiration from traditional Chinese medicine, and include men’s and ladies’ pool decks, and a range of grooming treatments.
The Langham, Diriyah’s dining options will include the first outpost in the Middle East from the three-Michelin-star Cantonese restaurant, T’ang Court. The signature afternoon tea will pay homage to the first afternoon tea served in the original hotel. Plus, if you want to learn from the best, the hotel’s cooking school Sauce will make its Middle Eastern debut as it opens in the venue.
Brett Butcher, Chief Executive Officer, Langham Hospitality Group, explained: “Langham Hospitality Group is delighted to be partnering with the Diriyah Gate Development Authority to bring The Langham to Saudi Arabia’s foremost historic cultural and lifestyle destination.
“For our first foray into the kingdom, we’re delighted to be part of a vision where The Langham’s proud traditions in hospitality will become integral to a 21st century vision that positions Riyadh on the global stage as an authentic and unique destination.”
