The pop-up restaurant is located in ARAMCO Community Park.
The Middle Eastern restaurant Villa Mamas has been expanding across the globe. Now, it will be making its way to Dharan, Saudi Arabia. Running from December to May, the pop-up will be located in ARAMCO Community Park.
Every winter, a restaurant opens a pop-up in ARAMCO Community Park. This year, Villa Mamas will be spreading its culinary joy to the district and will be open to the public.
Villa Mamas prides itself on creating modern Middle Eastern cuisine. The CEO and founder, Roaya Saleh, is behind the concept. In 2012, the restaurant first opened in Bahrain and was an extension of her home. Now, it can be found in Abu Dhabi, London and Riyadh. The Riyadh restaurant is located in Bujairi Terrace and is already popular with locals as well as tourists.
Villa Mamas’ menu boasts local as well as seasonal dishes, and draws inspiration from Roaya’s travels around the world. The pop-up menu has not yet been unveiled, but we are hoping it includes the restaurant’s signature dishes. The existing menus span starters, salads, mains, pastas, sides and desserts.
Starters include a range of dips, from Baba’s Tikka and Hummus to Hummus and Roasted Aubergine. Salads include Fattoush Salad, Fig Salad and Watermelon Feta Cheese Salad. Mains include Mahiche Lamb Shank, Mozat Laham and Smoked Lamb Mansaf. Desserts include Crème Caramal, Date Pudding and Muhallabia. Plus, drinks include a Lemon Mint, Turki Iced Tea and Vimto Slushie.
