The cool café resembles an airport and includes a retail area.
Strap in, it’s going to be an exciting ride. Elsewhere has opened a cool café pop-up in Sharjah, which will make you feel like you are jet-setting around the world and to another planet.
Located in the Banks Building in Hayawa 4, the Elsewhere pop-up has transformed the cool and cosy café into Khorfakkan International Airport. The space features check-in counters, luggage carousels and guests are even given paper boarding passes. Once visitors have “checked in” for their flight, the realisation dawns that they are travelling to Mars.
Elsewhere café has worked closely with Chef Hassa Al Khalifa and offers a fusion of Emirati and Japanese flavours. The Elsewhere pop-up in Khorfakkan will be running for the summer and aims to transport visitors to the sights and sounds of Mars. Dig into Mars Matcha and Mars Pizza, and dishes ranging from Asian-inspired food to light desserts.
Dishes at Elsewhere café include starters and mains. The fries include Elsewhere Loaded Fries, Mars Fries and Truffle Fries. The salads include Burrata Salad, Kani Salad and Watermelon Salad. Mains include Bolognese Rigatoni, Buffalo Pasta, Crispy Chicken Burger, Mushroom Burger and Tenderloin Steak. Dessert includes Butterscotch Pudding, Mini Cronuts, Roasted Cheesecake and Tiramisu.
Elsewhere café offers hot and cold drinks. Hot drinks include Afrogato, Black Coffee, Cold Brew, Filter Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Spanish Latte. Cold drinks include an Acai Smoothie, Coconut Matcha, Mango Fusion and Matcha Latte.
The pop-up boasts a futuristic design with an undulating ceiling, muted tones, neon lights and bright blue shelves. The minimalist design includes soft sofas, transparent tables and potted plants.
Elsewhere café in Sharjah is open daily from 9am to 1am.
