Whether you know – and love – Bagatelle for its lively atmosphere or French-Mediterranean fare, 11 October is a date you might want to remember. Following an extensive makeover, the fine-dining restaurant will open its doors for the new season, promising to delight guests, both old and new, with a brand-new look and an enhanced menu. We’re told that an unforgettable night of entertainment, delicious food, drinks and, of course, dancing is in the works.

Bagatelle

Executive Group Chef Timothy Newton has reimagined Bagatelle’s menu, introducing a selection of new starters, salads, pastas, as well as raw, meat and fish dishes that bring diners the flavours of the French Riviera to their plate, while keeping the restaurant’s beloved classics. Guests can whet their appetites with a variety of smaller dishes, including Pizza à la Truffe Noire and Poulpe à la Grenobloise. To continue, diners can choose from a selection of the freshest raw items, such as the Bagatelle tuna tartare with Espelette pepper dressing, Japanese yellowtail with red grapes and truffle vinaigrette, and Canadian lobster ceviche with avocado and jalapeño granita as well as a selection of the finest caviar by Kaviari.

From the salad and pasta section, there’s a variety of options including burrata salad with figs and pistachio crumb, stuffed beef tomato with fresh ricotta and black olive granola, and chilled angel hair pasta with Kaviari baeri caviar. Moving further down Bagatelle’s refreshed menu, diners can choose from a range of delectable main dishes, such as the grilled lamb rack with tomato and parmesan purée, herb salt-crusted whole free-range chicken with tarragon, and duck breast with Madagascan pepper sauce.

Pescatarisans, meanwhile, can indulge in the likes of pan-seared salmon with puffed potato and ikura or grilled tiger prawns with courgette and basil fregola. Diners can end the night on a sweet note, choosing from a number of new desserts, such as the Williams pear souffle with brown butter ice cream and Guanaja chocolate sauce. Bagatelle’s grand reopening will feature a special guest appearance by popular French DJ Willy William, who will keep the crowd going late into the night with his famous club mixes and electrifying beats.
