F.R.N.D.S. Grand Café brings glamour and gourmet food to Downtown Dubai

F.R.N.D.S. Grand Café has opened its doors in Downtown Dubai, and is welcoming guests to its upscale restaurant. Whether you’re after a leisurely breakfast or late-night socialising, you can be sure that the brand-new venue promises to be an elegant experience.

Located in Address Fountain Views, F.R.N.D.S. Grand Café is near Dubai’s most iconic sights, from Burj Khalifa to Dubai Mall. The venue’s dazzling décor draws inspiration from the golden era of Art Deco. Look out for the five-meter-tall bas-relief carving created by the Portuguese artist V.H.I.L.S. Plus, the stained-glass grand bar boasts a floating quartzite and walnut table suspended from the ceiling. 

Guests take their pick from the contemporary, cosy interiors or Champs-Élysées-esque, air-conditioned terrace, which can seat up to 80 diners. The terrace is a great spot to start the day with freshly baked French pastries, which have been created by the award-winning pastry team. Plus, shisha service is available. 

If you are after something a little more intimate, visitors can go one step further and book the glass-enclosed private dining room. The space is situated between five-meter-tall wine chillers, and must be pre-booked. 

The menu at F.R.N.D.S. Grand Café includes Mediterranean and Japanese dishes. Plus, it includes signature cocktails created by expert mixologists and an extensive wine offering.

Head Chef Matthis Grosjean leads the Mediterranean kitchen. He previously worked at MICHELIN-starred restaurants in France, from Le Epicure in Bristols Hotel Paris and Paul Bocuse L’Auberge in Lyon. Head Chef Adel leads the Japanese kitchen. He has more than 20 years of experience from world-renowned restaurants, including Nobu.
