Saadiyat Nights is proving to be a star-studded affair where music fans find themselves immersed in a sea of melodies under the moonlit sky. 

Abu Dhabi is hitting the high notes. Saadiyat Nights has announced that Tom Jones will be heading to the capital this weekend. The Welsh superstar is scheduled to perform on Friday, 1 March, but tickets are selling fast.

The Welsh powerhouse vocalist boasts a career spanning over six decades, captivating audiences with his soulful voice and electrifying stage presence. Tom Jones first started performing with the Welsh group, Tommy Scott and the Senators. In 1965, he released his first album, Along Came Jones. His hit songs include Delilah, Kiss, It’s Not Unusual, She’s a Lady and What’s New Pussycat? Over his career, he has sold over 100 million records and performed with stars including Cerys Matthews, Robbie Williams and Stereophonics. 

Jones’ influence extends beyond music. He has appeared in films, served as a coach on the popular TV show “The Voice,” and continues to tour extensively. Known for his energetic live performances, his powerful voice, combined with his charismatic stage presence and signature chest-hair display, have made him a captivating live act, drawing enthusiastic crowds worldwide.

With numerous accolades to his name, including a Grammy Award and a knighthood, Tom Jones remains a true musical legend.

Saadiyat Nights is an open-air musical event that takes place on Saadiyat Island. The series has seen performances from Alicia Keys, Andrea Bocelli, Googoosh, Mariah Carey and Sting.
