SPONSORED: Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill is levelling the playing field with a sophisticated venue and eclectic menu of steakhouse classics at Fairmont Fab Al Bahr.

What is your recipe for a good steakhouse? Is it the quality of the meat, or perhaps the variety of the sides – how about atmosphere? Whatever your ingredients may be, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill has brought its A-game to the UAE capital.

The brainchild of celebrity chef Marco Pierre White, this venue offers one of Abu Dhabi’s most elegant dining destinations. Think dramatic dark wood interiors met with pristine white tablecloths and plush seating. Mood lighting provides every table with an intimate vibe – whether you’re dining as a couple, with family or a group of friends – there is a sense of discreet exclusivity. The hard-to-miss backlit “flame wall” adds not only a talking point but a touch of warmth and softness to the setting.

At MPW, diners can expect an eclectic combination of innovative grill cuisine and classic English fare, accompanied by an extensive grape selection. The MPW menu is split into neat and manageable sections featuring Hors D’oeuvres, Classic Salads, Soups and Potages, Finest Quality Steaks, Sides, Main Boards and Fresh Vegetarian Dishes. Sharing is encouraged as the portion sizes are more than generous.

Whether you begin with the Wheeler’s Crispy Calamari (AED 65), Mr White’s Fresh Crab (AED 115) or the Heritage Tomato and Burrata Salad (AED95) – you won’t be disappointed because each dish is presented with a raw yet refined technique.

Don’t miss Mr. Lamb’s Shepherd’s Pie (AED 120), Marco’s take on the traditional British dish, inspired by Mr. Lamb, a kitchen porter, who worked with him at his renowned Box Tree Restaurant. Mr. Lamb was tasked with cooking for the restaurant team every week and he would always serve up Shepherd’s Pie, which here at MPQ is accompanied by buttered garden peas.

For mains, a selection of the finest quality steaks is available, including a 200g Prime US Beef Grilled Centre Cut Tenderloin (AED 250) alongside the 400g Wagyu 7 Roast Chateaubriand (AED 640) or Prime US Beef Tomahawk for two (AED 699). Whichever cut you choose, prepare for mouthwatering juiciness that is often difficult to achieve.

Desserts involved several sweet temptations, including a delicate blueberry cheesecake and a mighty chocolate fondant that oozes with chocolatey greatness.

Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill is taking good food back to basics – stripping down theatrics and dishing up what the chef knows best – authentic, hearty food with quality ingredients.
