If there’s one festival that’s been lighting up Abu Dhabi’s cultural calendar this year, it’s Club Social. With many renowned artists gracing the Etihad Park stage, this three-day event is not one to be missed.
Taking place from 18 to 20 April at Etihad Park on Yas Island, Club Social is a music extravaganza featuring Snow Patrol, The Kooks and Usher. And closing the weekend on 20 April is none other than Raye and London Grammar.
For those unversed, Raye — originally Rachel Agatha Keen — is a British singer-songwriter who’s carved a niche for herself in the music world. After years of penning hits for artists like Beyonce, Charli XCX, and Little Mix, she finally took the plunge and released her own music, which quickly garnered acclaim. Her breakthrough album “My 21st Century Blues” was a hit, with singles like Escapism and Hard Out Here dominating charts and streaming platforms. Known for her raw, powerful lyrics with electronic elements, Raye’s performance at Club Social in Abu Dhabi promises to be unforgettable.
Sharing the spotlight on the final day of Club Social are London Grammar. The English trio is famous for its cinematic sound and has made a name for itself in the world of alternative pop. They burst onto the scene with their debut album “If You Wait” and with hits like Strong, Hey Now, and Wasting My Young Years, they’ve managed to keep the magic alive.
But that’s not all. DJ Nad from Dubai will be kicking off the final night of Club Social, along with Dana Naidu featuring The Tasty Biscuits. Jasmine Ruby will take over the after-party, keeping the beats alive well into the night.
Tickets to see Raye and London Grammar at Club Social are running out fast, starting at AED 295 and going up to AED 595. So, if you haven’t grabbed yours yet, now’s the time. We’ll see you there!
