Tickets are now available to see basketball legend LeBron James in Abu Dhabi

USA Basketball Men’s National Team will compete at Etihad Arena.

FACT has some slam-dunking news. The Los Angeles Lakers basketball player, LeBron James, is coming to Abu Dhabi. Ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics, two friendly matches will take place at Etihad Arena on 15 and 17 July 2024. Plus, it will include the players Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum and Joel Embiid.

The USA Basketball Men’s National Team will take on Australia on 15 July and Serbia on July 17. The team also includes Tyrese Haliburton, Anthony Edwards, Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis, Devin Booker, Bam Adebayo and Jrue Holiday.

Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James is one of basketball’s greatest players. He is six feet nine inches tall and hails from Ohio, United States. Nicknamed King James, he has competed in 10 NBA Finals and won four NBA Championships. He is the all-time leading scorer in NBA history and has won four Most Valuable Player Awards. Plus, he has won two Olympic gold medals as part of the USA Basketball Men’s National Team.

The visit marks the second time that the USA Basketball Men’s National Team has visited Abu Dhabi. In 2023, the team visited during the FIBA World Cup campaign.

This Paris 2024 Olympics is set to take place from 26 July to 11 August. The city has previously hosted the event in 1900 and 1924. The 2024 event will primarily be held in Paris, and includes 16 other cities across France. This year, break dancing will feature as a sport for the first time.

We are thrilled to host them next summer in Abu Dhabi.”
