Izu Burger pop-up at Yas Plaza
Izu Burger’s first pop-up celebrates Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, where diners can enjoy Chef Izu’s signature Wagyu Potato Bun Burger, made with an exquisite cut of Australian Wagyu Beef or 150-day grain-fed Canadian Beef, topped with melted Emmental Swiss Cheese, signature sauce and a pillowy Potato Bun that soaks up all of the juices. The pop-up will also feature a live DJ, a range of beverage trucks and comfortable seating for diners to unwind and enjoy. Thursday 28 October to Saturday 30 October.

PINKtober at Villa Toscana, The St. Regis Abu Dhabi
Empowering guests to contribute towards breast cancer research whilst savouring an elegant sweet treat, Villa Toscana is raising funds for Al Jalila Foundation. Throughout October, the restaurant’s pastry chefs will be serving ‘The Pink Pear’ dessert, featuring a smooth chocolate-hazelnut casing filled with toasted hazelnut, Guanaja ganache, and poached pears. Every dirham raised through the sales of this beautifully crafted delight will go directly towards supporting the work of the Al Jalila Foundation. B.I.G. K.O. Brunch at Garage, W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island
The capital’s newest party brunch will be bigger than usual in celebration of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week. Expect five culinary hubs, 11 Beverage Taps and one big Secret Parties Brunch, featuring funky vibes from DJ Darko alongside Asian flavours, meat cuts from the Vault and drinks on Tap. Fridays, from 1pm to 4pm. AED 279 (soft beverages), AED 379 (house beverages) and AED 529 (sparkling).
Celebrate Halloween at Jubail Island
Look no further than Jubail Mangrove Park for fun-packed activities to celebrate the spooky season. Expect a themed makeover and lots of family-friendly Halloween activities at the park, including pumpkin carving, pumpkin painting and face painting. Visitors will also find a new look to the boardwalk, as it will be decorated for Halloween, while the rangers will embrace the spooky spirit with painted faces. The park will also host an evening outdoor cinema showing three Halloween movies. Friday, 29 October, from 4pm to 8pm.

The Chef’s Table at Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi, The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort
Boasting one of the capital’s most mesmerising beachfront settings, Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi participates in the city’s annual food festival, Abu Dhabi Culinary Season with a chef’s table experience. Savour a four-course menu with recipes from Peru to the Pacific Rim. Diners will be presented with tuna shake ssam bap, ceviche, Wagyu short rib bao, crispy lobster dumplings, black cod kamameshi, baby chicken brasa, followed by the indulgent yucamoshi and crème brûlée. Overlooking the grounds of Emirates Palace, the Hakkasan terrace boasts a bespoke cocktail menu and stylish bar. Hakkasan’s menu offers trademark delicacies in celebration of seasonal ingredients, including grilled local snapper, pan-fried rib eye in Mongolian sauce, and an organic quinoa green salad. The brand-new premium dim sum platter is also not to be missed and features Wagyu short rib with pumpkin crisp, lychee lobster with yuzu pearl, and supreme stock braised lobster.
