You can now dine on Akira Back’s signature dishes at VOX Cinemas

Akira Back at THEATRE will launch in Dubai on 26 September and Abu Dhabi on 10 October before being rolled out across VOX Cinemas in Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait later this year.

Having spent his early career as a professional snowboarder before moving into the culinary world, chef Akira Back has spent the last two decades racking up accolades (including the coveted Michelin Star) and building a global restaurant empire, including a branch of Akira Back at W Dubai – The Palm. The global restaurateur’s latest culinary adventure is a special menu for VOX Cinemas’ luxury cinema concept, THEATRE.

Akira Back at THEATRE will allow guests at the luxury cinema concept to enjoy a menu curated by the world-renowned chef. Featuring a dynamic combination of Akira Back’s signature dishes and culinary creations exclusive to VOX Cinemas, the modern Japanese menu comprises appetisers, starters, signature rolls, cinema classics, mains, desserts and signature mocktails. Menu highlights include the Akira Back Pizza, Kimchi Fried Rice, Angry Chicken and AB Kiss – a dessert that looks almost too good to eat!

VOX Cinemas’ THEATRE experience combines film with fine food, providing guests with the option of dining in an exclusive private lounge area or having their food delivered straight to their seat through the in-theatre waiter service. Redefining the luxury cinema experience, THEATRE boasts reclining leather seats, plush blankets and pillows and cutting-edge audiovisual technology in a stylish and intimate setting.

Akira Back at THEATRE launches on 26 September at VOX Cinemas in Dubai, including Mall of the Emirates, Nakheel Mall and City Centre Mirdif and on 10 October at VOX Cinemas in Abu Dhabi including Yas Mall, The Galleria Al Maryah Island, Al Jimi Mall and Nation Towers.
