Cinema in the Park returns to Abu Dhabi’s at Umm Al Emarat Park

Back-to-back family-friendly movie marathons are on the way with the return of Cinema in the Park.

With the summer heat finally beginning to subside, it’s time to embrace outdoor living with trips to Abu Dhabi’s beaches and parks. 

Umm Al Emarat Park in the heart of the city is bringing back its popular ‘Cinema in the Park’ series this weekend for another season of family-friendly movies under the stars.

Families and movie lovers are in for a special treat, with box-office blockbusters and family favourites screening on Umm Al Emarat Park’s large outdoor screen situated inside the Children’s Garden.

Starting on 1 October 2021 and expected to run until 30 April 2022, Cinema in the Park has an exciting line-up of back-to-back movies for the whole family on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 5:30pm and 7:30pm. Movies screening will include Moana, The Croods 2, Frozen 2, The Incredibles, Big Hero 6 and Harry Potter.

With movie-goers immersed in the films, Park Rangers will be on hand to help children at the origami stations. Additionally, children as young as two can enjoy the Water Splash Area or hop aboard the family-friendly train. Last but not least, animal lovers can head down to the Park’s Animal Barn to feed the resident camels, goats and ponies.
