Reach for the stars at The View at The Palm.

Located at the top of The Palm Tower, The View at The Palm is a new observation deck that towers 240 meters above Palm Jumeirah, offering uninterrupted 360-degree views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline.

The attraction boasts the highest vantage point on Palm Jumeirah and in collaboration with Dubai Astronomy Group, visitors will have a unique opportunity to observe the planet Jupiter at its largest and brightest on Friday 20 August, from 8pm to 10pm.

The highly-anticipated annual event for observing planets in their clearest forms, opposition occurs when the earth is between the sun and the opposite planet. Tailor-made for stargazers and astrophotographers, this is a prime opportunity to observe Jupiter’s stripes and swirls in great detail.

Hosted at The View at The Palm, on level 52 of The Palm Tower, the 60-minute event will begin with an explanation of the phenomenon, led by Dubai Astronomy Group’s CEO, Hasan Ahmad Al Hariri and is followed by an in-depth Q&A session. Participants can view Jupiter through telescopes and take images on their mobile phones or cameras.

Tickets for Jupiter at Opposition are priced at AED 125 for adults and AED 95 for children aged four to twelve years. The ticket price includes entry to The View at The Palm and a 60-minute astronomy session.
