From restaurants to residences, inside the $1.5 billion new development.

Abu Dhabi is bringing it when it comes to megaprojects, from SeaWorld Abu Dhabi to Etihad Rail. The latest development to be announced is Saadiyat Grove, which is a leisure, retail and entertainment centre. Located on Saadiyat Island, the $1.5 billion project is expected to launch in 2023 and looks set to be an exciting destination in the capital.

Saadiyat Grove will be home to Town Square, which includes 70 shops, a gym, cinema and offices. The destination will also boast two hotels and co-working spaces. Plus, foodies will be delighted to hear that there is a whopping 50,000 square metres of dining space.

Culture lovers will be fans of the new megaproject. Saadiyat Grove aims to connect Louvre Abu Dhabi, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and Zayed National Museum. If you’re looking for a swanky address, check out one of the residential spaces. The residences include one and two-bedroom apartments, and penthouses. You’ll be able to count Louvre Abu Dhabi as your neighbour, and will be a short walk away from some of the UAE’s most impressive art collections. An evening with Monet, anyone?
