Fontana in Abu Dhabi: Catch Cirque du Liban’s thrilling water circus

Prepare to be wowed by stunts, singers and special effects.

Cirque Du Liban’s Fontana made a splash in Dubai, and is hoping to do the same in Abu Dhabi. The troupe are coming to the capital and are setting up a circus at Yas Island. Running from 7 April to 20 June 2024, it showcases spectacular stunts and amazing aerialists.

Cirque du Liban’s Fontana is so unique, it is the first travelling water circus in the Middle East. So, the show will take place in the tailor-made Aquatic Theatre. The big top tent has seats arranged in a grandstand format, so you won’t miss a drop of the water-packed action.

Fontana is filled with thrilling theatrics, which range from a dancing musical fountain to motorcycle stunts. During the show, you’ll be wowed by a range of circus performers including dancers, trapeze artists, singers and good old-fashioned clowns.

Last year, Fontana ran in Dubai Festival City, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. Thierry Antonios, managing partner of Hat Entertainment, said: “The show’s world-class line-up of performers cannot wait to amaze and entertain audiences in equal measure. Following the massive success of the show across the Middle East, including sold-out dates in Lebanon, we are delighted to carry on Fontana’s impressive legacy by bringing it to the UAE.”

The family-friendly experience is suitable for guests aged two years and above. If you want to catch Fontana in Abu Dhabi, tickets are available now. Tickets range from AED 100 to AED 300, and the show lasts 120 minutes.

Roll up, roll up, the circus is coming to town.
