The upcoming destination has something for the entire family.
Get ready for an adventure-packed trip because Sharjah is quickly becoming the ultimate hub for thrill-seekers and eco-tourism. Located on the picturesque east coast and nestled in the Al Soueifa mountain range, Khor Fakkan Adventure – opening next year – offers exciting activities for the whole family.
Imagine hiking and biking trails with breathtaking views and a zip line that takes you over Luluyah Beach, landing in the refreshing waters of the Oman Sea. And for those daring enough, you can swing over the mountain landscape and capture the perfect Instagram-worthy shot. If that’s not enough, Khor Fakkan Adventure will also feature an alpine coaster where you can travel down the mountain on a bobsled-like cart is also in the works.
Other notable attractions include Mysk Kingfisher Retreat and Mysk Al Badayer Retreat, both of which are being expanded to accommodate more guests. And if you’re looking for a unique travel experience, Nomad by Mysk offers 20 aluminium airstream trailers for travellers to stay in while becoming one with nature.
And there’s more! The Lux* Al Bridi Resort, set inside the Sharjah Safari project, is set to open in the fall of next year. Partnered with the Lux Collective, the resort will offer visitors access to unique experiences, including the opportunity to spot rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, lions, and leopards. Likewise, Lux* Al Jabal Resort is also set to open in Q2 of 2024 marking the first Lux operation in the Middle East.
