Studio One Hotel’s Harry Potter Movie Madness kicks off

The one-week-long movie marathon celebrates Harry’s 42nd birthday.

If the names Harry, Hermione and Ron excite you, then you’ll be thrilled to hear that they are returning to a cinema near you. Dubai’s Studio One Hotel’s Harry Potter Movie Madness is screening one Potter movie after another. So, leave the muggles behind and make your way to this movie marathon.

Studio One Hotel has its own screening room, and the films will be shown from 26 to 31 July. The event celebrates Harry Potter’s birthday, which falls on 31 July and he’ll be turning 42 years old. You are welcome to join the party and dressing up is positively encouraged – think wizard hats, round specs and wands. 

On 30 and 31 July, you’ll be spellbound. Studio One Hotel gets the Potter party started, as there’ll be Quidditch pong, Potter-themed decorations and more.

Here is the running order of Studio One Hotel’s Harry Potter Movie Madness: Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (Tuesday 26 July at 7pm), Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Wednesday 27 July at 7pm), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Thursday 28 July at 7pm), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Friday 29 July at 7pm), Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Saturday 30 July at 6pm), Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Saturday 30 July at 8:30pm), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (Sunday 31 July at 2pm) and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (Sunday 31 July at 4:30pm).

The tickets cost AED 49 per movie including popcorn, and AED 149 for all eight movies and popcorn. If you fancy some extra snacks, you can add a soft drink and a pizza for AED 89 or a bottle of wine and a pizza for AED 159. Happy birthday, Harry.
