Taking off this February, the new attraction goes 300 metres up in the air.
It’s time to go up, up and away with The Dubai Balloon. The new attraction in Atlantis Aquaventure is a helium-filled balloon, which takes visitors up to 300 metres in the air. So, if views of Palm Jumeirah give you butterflies in your stomach, here’s how to hop on board The Dubai Balloon.
The Dubai Balloon is scheduled to launch in February. The 10-minute experience takes visitors into the air, and boasts spectacular views spanning the Arabian Gulf to Dubai Marina. So, if you’re looking for a romantic experience this Valentine’s Day – a proposal, anyone? – then this could get a yes.
Clair Aichhorn, General Manager of The Dubai Balloon, said: “We are so excited to welcome everyone to try this new bucket-list experience and rise above this beautiful city we call home. I’m extremely proud of this project and the teams that have worked hard to create something spectacular that will reshape the city skyline and enhance Dubai as a destination.”
There are plenty of ways that visitors can enjoy the spectacular Palm Jumeirah. The popular tourist attractions range from the viewing platform at The View at The Palm to the skydiving experience at Skydive Dubai. We’re sure The Dubai Balloon will be just as popular, especially since it is also available for private charters, corporate events and celebrations.
The Dubai Balloon aims to be a family-friendly experience, which is suitable for children and adults. General tickets start from AED 175 for adults and AED 75 for children. Fast track tickets, which offer priority boarding and a soft drink, start from AED 275 for adults and AED 125 for children. Plus, children under three years old can visit for free.
