The two cool courts are located on the lakes of Jumeirah Lake Towers.

We’ve heard of padel courts on land, but now there are padel courts on water. Padelx has opened the first floating padel court in the GCC, and it’s located in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai. So, visitors can hit some balls, while soaking up the lush lake views.

Padelx is located in Cluster I of Jumeirah Lake Towers, where visitors can take their pick from two courts. If you’re worried about losing your balls, fear not, as there are glass walls. So, you can experience the game while enjoying the views.

Padelx plans to lead the padel revolution in the UAE – so the courts are accessible and affordable. Most of all, it aims to take the chore out of a workout, and create a fun-filled experience. Plus, it hopes to build a community through the sport.

Sofie Källström, the Chief Executive Officer of Padelx, explained: “We’re incredibly excited to be launching our first floating court here in Dubai. Our first floating court in JLT is just the first chapter of a, hopefully, long and wonderful story for us and a channel to build the ecosystem sport itself here in the Middle East. We believe an active lifestyle should be fun, and this special court is a testament to that.”

Christian Wilhelmsson, Executive Business Developer at Padelx, added: “I think sports should be a good force in people’s lives. Padel is easy to learn, fun to play and rewarding. Honestly, I couldn’t think of a better sport than padel to inspire the youth, and everyone else for that matter, to play, have fun and achieve a healthier lifestyle”.

Padelx reservations start from 200 AED for 60 minutes on one court. Bookings can be made through Playtomic app.
