Dig into authentic pizzas and pastas.
Abu Dhabi has no shortage of great restaurants but with plenty happening across the capital this winter season — hello, Coldplay’s four-night concert run — an influx of visitors is expected. To cater to this high demand, a new restaurant is opening in the capital. Get ready to welcome Andreas Di Venezia, a homegrown Italian restaurant that’s sure to become a favourite.
Officially opening doors on 27 September, Andreas Di Venezia finds a permanent address at Andalus Al Seef Resort and Spa. The restaurant offers a laid-back dining experience that welcomes all ages.
As soon as you step indoors, the cosy interiors will take you to the homes of Italy. Expect hues of yellow, blue, and green creating a homely atmosphere that is evident in an Italian grandma’s home. With natural light bathing the space and hints of green appearing across the restaurant, Andreas Di Venezia is perfect for those looking to enjoy good food and good company.
Andreas Di Venezia’s menu is all about authenticity. Led by Head Chef Goutam Bhagat, the restaurant serves up dishes made from fresh ingredients sourced from Italy. With a nod to age-old Italian cooking traditions, it features a wide variety of Neapolitan pizzas, focaccia sandwiches, pasta, and much more. Some of the highlights on the menu include Calamari Fritti, Eggplant Parmesan, and Bistecca Fiorentina to name a few.
Before opening as a permanent fixture, Andreas Di Venezia started as a pop-up eatery earlier this year. It quickly became a hit, thanks to its high-quality Italian cuisine at pocket-friendly prices, which found a soft corner in people’s hearts and bellies.
So if you’re looking for a true taste of Italy in Abu Dhabi, Andreas Di Venezia is the place to be. And if you go on 27 September — the opening day — you can also get yourself a free pizza.
