The exhibition will take place from 20 to 24 November.
Mark your calendars because the Abu Dhabi Art Fair is returning with a bang. This highly anticipated annual art fair is swinging open its doors once again for its 16th edition, bringing the curtain down on a year-round arts extravaganza. Brace yourselves for an inspiring showcase of artworks from across the globe – taking place in the capital.
Scheduled to take place from 20 to 24 November at Mamsha Al Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi Art Fair promises an immersive experience that extends beyond the confines of a traditional art fair. During this time, over 100 galleries from more than 30 countries get to flex their creative muscles and showcase impressive installations and site-specific works to a massive audience. These aren’t just any galleries, they’ve been handpicked by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.
Some of the galleries exhibiting this year include Aisha Alabbar Gallery, Barakat Contemporary, Dastan Gallery, Etihad Modern Art Gallery, Gallery Tableau, Mazzoleni, Pygmalion Gallery and Selma Feriani Gallery to name a few.
You may be wondering who makes Abu Dhabi Art extra special. Well, it’s the guest curators who are the masterminds behind the scenes – organising exhibitions, talks and performances. They bring in diverse perspectives and ride the waves of global currents, from established legends to fresh-faced emerging artists. This time around, Carine Harmand, Elvira Eevr Djaltchinova-Malets, Lorenzo Fiaschi, Odessa Warren and Roxane Zand will be backing the exhibitions.
Entry to Abu Dhabi Art Fair is completely free so mark your calendars because it’s going to be an absolute blast.
