Abu Dhabi, we have some major music news. British superstar Ed Sheeran will be headlining the Off Limits festival. The event takes place on 26 April in Etihad Park, and tickets are now live.
Off Limits festival offers a rare chance to see a full set from Ed Sheeran in Abu Dhabi. He is no stranger to the region and performed in Dubai in January 2024. His Mathematics Tour came to the Middle East and included a performance at The Seven Stadiums – and FACT attended.
Ed hails from Yorkshire, England. He grew up in Suffolk and later moved to London to break into the music industry. In 2010, he shot to fame with a video on SB.TV and the release of his debut single, The A Team
Ed’s hit songs include Castle on the Hill, I Don’t Care, Perfect, Shape of You and Thinking Out Loud. He has collaborated with stars ranging from Beyoncé and Stormzy to Taylor Swift. He has written songs for Justin Bieber, Khalid and One Direction.
Over his career, he has sold more than 150 million records worldwide. At the BRIT Awards, he has won Album of the Year, Best British Male Solo Artist and Best Breakthrough Act. At the Grammys, he has won Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year.
Off Limits festival brings together more than 20 artists across two stages. The festival covers multiple musical genres including electronic, hip-hop and pop. The full line-up has not yet been unveiled and will be announced in the lead-up to the event.
