Returning this November, the capital’s ultimate food festival is expected to introduce a new music concept.

Another day, another update about an outdoor festival to await: Taste of Abu Dhabi. We all know that the season ahead will see the return of al fresco entertainment of all manner, but when it comes to foodies across the capital, this is one that matters. As for what you can expect? Three days’ worth of dishes from the city’s most acclaimed restaurants, a celebrity chef line-up, and an all-new music concept. Taste of Abu Dhabi will run from 15 to 17 November at Gateway Park South, Yas Island.

We’re told that of the 15 restaurants participating in the 2024 edition, eight have been confirmed: Barbossa, Craft by Side Hustle, José by Pizarro, Li Jiang, MIKA, Oak Room, Silk & Spice and Taon. Additionally, each restaurant will specially curate a menu of three to five ‘taster’ sized dishes, so guests can sample a little of everything. This will include at least one vegetarian option as well as one child-friendly dish.

Taste of Abu Dhabi will also host several workshops led by celebrity chefs. Here, guests can learn the best kitchen secrets, techniques, and insights directly from experts like Annabel Karmel, Eric Lanlard, Jenny Morris, José Pizarro, Marco Pierre White and Sanjeev Kapoor. Bonus: all workshops are included for free with all event entry tickets. Just be warned that sign-up for sessions will be first come, first served on the day of the event. Elsewhere, a market of both artisan vendors and established brands will be onsite, selling their wares and offering up samples.
