Irish hitmakers Westlife are coming to Abu Dhabi
Catch the group at Etihad Arena on 27 October.
Westlife fans will be flying without wings to this news. The Irish hitmakers are set to perform in Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena on Friday, 27 October. Live Nation Middle East and Experience Abu Dhabi have announced the concert, and here’s how to get your hands on tickets to see Westlife in Abu Dhabi.
We are expecting Westlife to perform classic as well as new songs, and, of course, ballads. This is your chance to sing along to hits including Flying Without Wings, My Love, Uptown Girl, What Makes a Man, World of Our Own and You Raise Me Up.
When Westlife first started in 1998, they consisted of five members: Brian MacFadden, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan. In 2004, Brian quit the group and they became a foursome. Over their career, they have notched up 14 number-one singles in the UK Charts, sold more than 55 million records and secured legions of screaming fans. Plus, they have won World Music Awards, BRIT Awards and MTV Awards.
Westlife are no strangers to the Middle East. They performed in Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena back in 2019. The group bought their Wild Dreams Tour to Abu Dhabi and AlUla in 2022. Fans can also expect heartfelt moments at the Abu Dhabi concert. The group previously invited Dian, who was battling cancer, on stage. She was holding up a poster that read: “Fight cancer, see Westlife, take a pic with Westlife.”
Tickets to see Westlife in Abu Dhabi go on sale on 6 October at 12pm.
