Taking place on 19 January at the Etihad Arena, Ludovico Einaudi will bring his brilliant compositions to Abu Dhabi. And while it’ll be his first time in the capital, he’s no stranger to the UAE. He’s had three sold-out shows in Dubai already.
Born in Turin, Einaudi’s musical journey began under the guidance of his mother, who introduced him to the piano at a young age. His early experimentation with music eventually led him to pursue formal training in Milan, where he honed his composition skills. He later went on to make music for theatre, TV, and films, such as This is England, The Intouchables, and Nomadland.
Einaudi’s music draws inspiration from minimalism and contemporary pop. Some of his most famous works include the likes of Experience, Nuvole Bianche, and I Giorni.
The Italian composer holds several awards, namely the Avignon Film Festival, British Independent Film Awards, and David di Donatello Awards. He also has 13 nominations across prestigious platforms. With over 2.5 million albums sold globally, music lovers are in for an evening of melodious, heart-touching tones.
