Saudi singer Mohammed Abdo makes his way to Abu Dhabi
The artist will be performing at Etihad Arena on 10 May.
Abu Dhabi is gearing up to host a plethora of celebrities and events throughout the year. The superstar shows will return after Ramadan, beginning with the Saudi musical icon, Mohammed Abdo. Taking place on 10 May, Abdo is all set to mesmerise fans at the Etihad Arena.
Affectionately known as the Artist of the Arabs, Mohammed Abdo in Abu Dhabi promises a night of passion and musical brilliance. The singer has over 125 albums to his name, including the widely acclaimed Abaad. His repertoire boasts more than 300 patriotic songs, each a testament to his legacy and influence on Arabic music.
Throughout his career, Abdo has achieved numerous milestones. He was the first to sing the Al Sanaaniya song with a musical orchestra, and the first Saudi artist to release complete national album. Abdo was the first Arab artist to use the term Habibty in singing and his international acclaim reached new heights when he became the first Saudi artist to perform at the Paris Opera. He was honoured with the Diamond Jubilee award in recognition of his 60 years of artistic contribution.
With an illustrious six-decade-long career, Abdo is one of Saudi music’s most influential figures. Renowned for his ability to present local music in a universally resonant manner, he has captivated audiences not only in the Middle East but also across the world.
