The celebrity chef draws inspiration from his travels around the world.
Celebrity chef Nicolas Isnard is opening a new restaurant in the capital. Bord Eau by Nicolas Isnard will open on Friday, 29 March at Shangri La Abu Dhabi in Qaryat al Beri. The restaurant uses food to bring his travels around the world to life. So, if you’re a fan of French flavours with a twist, here’s what you need to know.
Born in the south of France, Chef Nicolas is known for his innovative dishes inspired by his culinary explorations. He is behind L’Auberge de la Charme, which earned him a MICHELIN Star in 2009. His travels have taken him around the world to Beijing, Dubai, Jakarta, Moscow and Singapore. Bord Eau by Nicolas Isnard will showcase fine dining French flavours, along with dishes inspired by his travels.
Chef Nicolas is no stranger to the Middle East. In October 2023, he opened House of Grill at Fairmont Riyadh. Located in Business Gate, it showcases meat dishes with fresh and prime cuts. The sophisticated space boasts Art Deco touches with an old-school glamour, from gramophones and radios on the table to framed photos lining the pillars and scattered lamps to create the perfect lighting.
Bord Eau by Nicolas Isnard counts creative concepts as its neighbours. Shangri La Abu Dhabi is home to a range of restaurants, from Middle Eastern food at Sofra Bld to Chinese food at Shang Palace. Plus, Al Hanah Bar and Amalfi Beach Lounge.
Bird Eau by Nicolas Isnard will be open from Tuesday to Sunday from 6pm to 11pm.
