It’s common to find cacti in the desert. Now, it has made its way to Abu Dhabi in the form of a restaurant. Cacti restaurant has opened in Marsa Al Bateen Marina, and showcases international flavours with serene sea views.
Cacti in Abu Dhabi boasts a cool, contemporary design. The décor spans soft shades from beige to white, and a gold logo on the wall adds a touch of class. The layout is great for groups, as diners can sit on long banquettes with cushions or chairs by square tables. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in lots of light and overlook the water.
Cacti in Abu Dhabi is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast menu includes Avocado Toast, French Toast and Scrambled Eggs. The main menu spans appetisers, soups, salads, mains and desserts. Appetisers include Baked Potato with herbs, Buffalo Shrimp with spices and Fuji Fries with unagi sauce. Soups range from a Creamy Prawn to Pumpkin. Salads include a Fig Salad, Texas Salad and Watermelon Salad.
Mains include Beetroot Risotto with Short Ribs, Shrimp Risotto and Truffle Rigatoni Pasta. Rolls rolls include a California Roll, Eel Avo and Korean BBQ Roll. Plus, desserts include Blueberry Cheesecake, San Sebastian and Tiramisu.
Cacti in Abu Dhabi’s drinks menu spans hot and cold drinks. Cold drinks include iced tea, freshly squeezed juices, and virgin mocktails and mojitos. Hot drinks include an Americano, Espresso and Spanish Latte.
