Abu Dhabi, you’re in for a tasty treat. The popular café Flaky Pastry is making its way to the capital. Located in The Galleria Al Maryah Island, the opening date has not yet been confirmed, but here’s what we do know.
As the name suggests, Flaky Pastry is famous for its pastries. The café can already be found in Dubai, and there are locations in City Walk and Dubai Creek Harbour. The team pride themselves on offering gourmet croissants, but also a selection of sweet and savoury items. Plus, there are freshly baked viennoiseries and speciality coffee.
The full menu for Flaky Pastry in Abu Dhabi has not yet been confirmed. If the Dubai menu is anything to go by, visitors are in for a treat. The menu includes The Viral Crookie, which includes a cookie on top of a croissant.
The all-day breakfast menu includes Burrata Cheese, Fresh Pesto and Rocket; Poached Egg, Avocado and Feta Croissat, and Smoked Salmon and Herbed Cream Cheese. The sandwiches include a Chicken Mayo and Avocado Croiswich; Japanese Egg Mayo Croiswich; and Smoked Turkey Croiswich. The toasties range from a Chocolate and Hazelnut Croissant Toast to a Mixed Berry and Vanilla Croissant Toast. Plus, for parents-to-be, Flaky Pastry also offers gender reveal croissants.
Flaky Pastry boasts a range of hot and cold drinks. The hot drinks include a Hot Chocolate, Hot Salted Pistachio Latte, Hot Spanish and Hot Spicy Chai Latte. The cold drinks include Iced Vanilla Bean, Iced Matcha and Iced Spanish.
