GALA offers creative and classic Indian dishes. 

Abu Dhabi is home to a range of restaurants, from celebrity chefs to MICHELIN-starred spots. However, the options for vegetarian eaters are limited. Now, the first fine-dining vegetarian restaurant is coming to the capital. Located in Al Zahiyah, GALA in Abu Dhabi boasts a gourmet Indian vegetarian and vegan menu. 

GALA in Abu Dhabi is a gastronomical game changer. The menu spans appetisers, starters, salads, soups, mains, rice, bread and dessert. Dishes are presented in a fun and colourful way with bright blue plates. Starters include Broccoli Walnut Tikki, Pesto Paneer Tikka and Yoghurt and Cheese Croquettes. Salads include Gala Hummus Sampler, Quinoa Kale Salad, and Snow Peas and Dragon Fruit Salad. Soups include the Cream Corn Shower Corn Puff, Smoked Tomato Basil Soup and Wild Mushroom Broth Garlic Twist.

There are a wide selection of mains to choose from, which include Dum Ki Dingri, Rollard Paner Makhani and Saag Double Decker. Dessert includes classic as well as creative Indian dishes. Classic dishes include Rasmalai Tres Leches and Gajar Halwa Spring Roll. Creative dishes include Deconstructed Jalebi Rabri and Gulab Jamun Churros.

GALA in Abu Dhabi is easy to spot, thanks to its gold-illuminated logo and pretty plants lining the entrance. Spanning two floors, the interiors are contemporary and colourful. The venue includes mustard yellow sofas, blue tiled walls, funky light features and shelves with vases. Take your pick from long and round tables, from seats by the floor-to-ceiling windows to private banquettes.
