Abu Dhabi, get your chopsticks ready because Goldfish Sushi & Yakitori is heading your way. Backed by Sunset Hospitality Group, this renowned Dubai eatery has expanded its footprint and is now open in Marina Mall Abu Dhabi.
For those unfamiliar with Goldfish Sushi & Yakitori, it offers a Japanese dining experience from acclaimed chef Akmal Anuar. This Michelin Bib Gourmand-recognised restaurant offers a modern twist on traditional Japanese cuisine.
Goldfish Sushi & Yakitori is also committed to sourcing the finest ingredients ethically. Plus, with an open kitchen concept, guests can witness the kitchen staff working their magic firsthand. The menu offers a selection of Goldfish favourites, including the signature Wagyu Sliders, Tuna & Guac Dip, flavourful clay pots and the Tori Ramen, crafted with onsen egg, chicken char siu, and a touch of chilli oil. For dessert lovers, the Chocolate Tarte, served with ice cream or the Matcha Cheesecake, accompanied by a salty parmesan cheese ice cream, are must-tries.
To enhance the dining experience, you can enjoy an array of signature mocktails, made with locally sourced ingredients. Highlights include the A Ni, a refreshing blend of strawberries, blueberries, and cranberry; the Passion Cooler, offering a citrusy zing with a hint of mint; and the Goldfish Spritz, a vibrant and invigorating choice.

Akmal Anuar is the culinary mastermind behind Dubai favourites like 3Fils, 11 Woodfire, and Osteria Funkcoolio. Now, he’s introducing Harummanis from Singapore to Dubai. Located on Al Wasl Road, this new restaurant will showcase Singaporean Malay cuisine.
Goldfish Abu Dhabi is not Sunset Hospitality Group’s only new opening in the capital. The FACT award-winning SUSHISAMBA is expected to open later this month in Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers.
Goldfish has been created by Sunset Hospitality Group, which is behind a range of hospitality hits, from L’Amo Bistro Del Mare to the FACT award-winning Mott 32 and Signor Sassi. Goldfish is not the group’s only new opening in the capital, SUSHISAMBA is expected to open later this month in Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers.
Apart from Goldfish Sushi & Yakitori, Marina Mall Abu Dhabi boasts a plethora of other dining options waiting to be explored. The newly opened Beau, Cipriani Dolce, NAC, and Somewhere have already been attracting guests.
