The new licensed branch of the beloved pizzeria will be located in The Galleria Al Maryah Island.
Abu Dhabi is home to some of the best restaurants in the UAE. One name that stands out — and is loved by many — is Italian restaurant Antonia. Delighting diners in the capital with two branches already, this popular pizzeria is opening a new outpost in The Galleria at Al Maryah Island.
Adding a slight twist to the name, this new licensed branch will be called Antonia Chic. Adding an extra touch of pizzaz, it’s set to amaze pizza lovers, one slice at a time.
Much like the branches at Al Zeina and Mamsha Al Saadiyat, Antonia Chic will offer a tempting selection of Pizza Al Taglio paired with a selection of licensed beverages. Staying true to the roots, Antonia Chic will also display rectangular trays of pizza with an array of toppings. Choose your slices and enjoy them without any cutlery.
What sets Antonia’s pizza apart from other pizzerias is its dough. Fermented for 72 hours, this dough serves as the perfect base for the pizza. But the secret ingredient lies in a 50-year-old sourdough, a family heirloom passed down through generations.
Back in 1972, Grandma Antonia was the first one to make this sourdough and now Chef Simone Federici has taken on the reins. Recognised as one of Italy’s top young chefs, he brings with him a wealth of experience from the finest restaurants across Italy, the Caribbean, and Miami.
Antonia Chic joins the growing repertoire of restaurants in The Galleria at Al Maryah Island, such as Craft by Side Hustle, Flamingo Room by tashas, LPM Restaurant & Bar and Zuma Abu Dhabi. So, if you love pasta and pizza, Antonia Chic is the place to be.
Details of when Antoni Chic will open are still under wraps, but stay tuned at FACT for all the detals
