The new venue boasts Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque views.

Abu Dhabi is filled with exciting restaurants, cafés and pop-ups. Now, it is set to welcome a new seafront café, La Côte, which is open for a limited time. Located in The Souk Qaryat Al Beri, it offers a serene setting for coffee and cakes.

La Côte’s menu includes hot and cold drinks and a range of desserts. In French, the name translates to the coast and side, which is fitting given the café’s charming location.

La Côte boasts Insta-friendly views that are double-tap worthy. When you enter, you walk through white flowing fabrics hanging between the trees. The walkway is lined with sofas and chairs, and there are superb spots for larger groups.

The décor boasts a muted brown and beige aesthetic with soft whites. The design is punctuated by greenery from the surrounding bushes and palm trees. The venue is illuminated at night, thanks to the scattered lanterns and palm trees with fairy lights. Plus, it overlooks the waterways filled with traditional wooden abra boats and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

While you are in the area, make sure to visit The Souk Qaryat Al Beri. The shopping mall is home to a range of restaurants, cafés and shops. The shopping mall draws inspiration from traditional Arab architecture. The area is home to an Arabian-inspired souk, manmade canals and abra rides. Plus, there are shops selling accessories, carpets, clothing, furniture, jewellery and perfumes.

La Côte is open daily from 4pm to midnight.
