The eco-friendly space is open until 31 March 2024.

If you’re looking to make the most of the cooler weather, then we have some cool news. Al Ain’s Qasr Al Muwaiji is welcoming a new pop-up. Le Pré has launched an eco-friendly space in honour of the UAE’s Year of Sustainability. The site is open now and runs until 31 March 2024.

Le Pré prides itself on its sustainable practises and has been created using aluminium and wood. The clean, contemporary aesthetic boasts beige, cream and whites, and a mix of natural and soft lighting. The neutral colour scheme is punctuated with brown wooden tables and green plants. The range of plants are artfully placed, as they border the exterior and are scattered throughout space.

If you suffer from food indecision, visitors can choose between various concepts. The options include Eight Pizza for Italian-inspired pizzas, Popup Burger for classic burgers and Matera for international dishes. Plus, there will be live music nights, which add to the vibe.

The concept was created by Emirati entrepreneurs. The aim is to create projects that will have an impact on the local market and create opportunities for local youth.

Qasr Al Muwaiji is best known as the birthplace of the former President of the UAE, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His father and predecessor, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, used it as a base when he was the Ruler’s Representative of the Eastern Region of the Emirate. The fort was built in the early 20th century and is significant in the country’s history. In 2015, it opened as a museum and offers visitors the chance to learn about the country’s history.

Le Pré is open on weekdays from 4pm to 1am, and weekends from 4pm to 1am.
