The restaurant offers an omakase experience with high-quality meat.
Abu Dhabi, we have some fantastic food news. Yas Island is welcoming a new Korean restaurant, NURI Grill & Bar by Madang. The Korean concept blends fine dining and a barbecue experience, and here’s what to expect.
The word nuri translates to “light” in Arabic and “world” in Korean, and describes itself as a place where the light meets the world. Located on Yas Bay Waterfront, NURI Grill & Bar by Madang will specialise in an omakase experience. The Japanese phrase translates to “I leave it up to you” – explaining how diners relinquish control and let the chef choose their dishes.
NURI Grill & Bar by Madang’s menu showcases high-quality, ethically sourced meats. The specialities include marbled steak and wet ageing meat, which allow the steak to be tender and rich. The set menus range from a Butcher’s Feast to Nuri Omakase, and the à la carte options range from USD Prime to Wagyu.
The venue’s eclectic cocktail menu has been designed to reflect the seasons. The soji drinks include a Haribo Soju with gummy bear flavours, Mango Soju with blends of mango, and So Subak with watermelon.
If you want to let out your inner Bryan Adams, NURI Grill & Bar by Madang will also be home to a private karaoke room. We don’t know what songs will be on the machine, but we are hoping that it ranges from pop to K-Pop – it is a Korean restaurant, after all.
