Classes include baking, ceramics and flower arranging.

Seed & Bloom will soon be in full bloom in the capital. The café and community space will open soon at Al Raha Gardens Plaza in Abu Dhabi. The concept will offer coffee, cakes and classes ranging from baking to flower arranging. The opening date has not yet been confirmed, but here’s what to expect.

Seed & Bloom aims to complement, connect, and create a community experience. At its heart is the café, and visitors can sit and linger or take away their treats. The space includes 50 indoor and outdoor seats, and is a serene spot for guests to socialise.

If you love arts and crafts, check out the list of activities which are fun and educational. The classes and workshops include baking, ceramics, flower arranging and candle making. Plus, there is a shop stocked with local suppliers and artisans, from Mazaraa Farm Shop to The Unwrapped Store.

Kevin McNulty, who has previously worked with Jason Atherton and the Galvin brothers, is the Head Chef of Seed & Bloom. While the menu includes Western techniques, there are Mediterranean, Asian and Arabic influences. The team prides itself on using local, seasonal ingredients. The pastries are made fresh daily and include a signature focaccia. Options also include croissants, tarts and loaves.

Kevin explains: “Our menu is all about showcasing the best of local produce and traditional techniques. Each dish tells a story of quality, creativity, and community, reflecting our dedication to crafting memorable culinary experiences.”
